Responsibilities:

The Senior Communications Adviser delivers innovative communications and media services that raise the profile of our key initiatives, investments and programs, making sure our stakeholders receive the right messages, through the right channels, at the right time.
The portfolios that these positions will support will be supporting are:
Economic Growth and Jobs - The role involves working closely with policy teams to promote initiatives DJSIR is delivering to drive economic growth and job creation in Victoria. Help us shine a light on the government’s trade and investment opportunities that position Victoria as a key global exporter and investment destination. The applicant will need to be able to manage media and end-to-end communications for the portfolio and translate complex concepts into high impact human stories for a general audience in a fast-paced environment
Skills and TAFE - The role involves working in a fast-paced and complex environment to manage media and issues for the portfolio and deliver end-to-end communications to promote Victoria’s TAFEs and the government’s investments and initiatives that are boosting the state’s skilled workforce and giving more Victorians opportunities to get the skills they need for the jobs they want.
