The Executive and Enterprise Communications (EEC) team at CGI is looking for a senior communications professional to join its ranks. The Senior Consultant will work closely with various teams across the globe to create communications strategies, plans and content that support our strong culture and drive engagement for more than 91,000 employees in 40 countries.
The ideal candidate must have 5-10 years of experience, be a self-starter, be comfortable wearing many hats and have superior English and French writing and editing skills. We are looking for a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is skilled at both the planning and implementation of communication campaigns.

Responsibilities:

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with your EEC colleagues to deliver engaging internal communications for CGI members globally
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across CGI’s multiple corporate services functions to create and deploy integrated communications campaigns
  • Leverage new and existing channels to reach employees with core messages; develop a messaging framework that informs, engages and inspires
  • Craft messaging that raises awareness and understanding of corporate projects
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the various regions and Centers of Expertise to ensure cohesive messaging that adheres to CGI editorial standards and brand guidelines
  • Analyze performance indicators across all channels to continuously improve internal communications
  • Encourage feedback, interaction and discussion with our stakeholders and employees

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of related professional experience in corporate communications, preferably within a global environment and/or high-tech industry
  • Superior writing skills in English and French
  • Ability to understand target audiences and translate complex concepts into clear and concise messages
  • Skilled at multi-tasking, enjoys working in a fast-paced, non-routine environment
  • High level of autonomy; capacity to drive projects independently and to effectively manage deadlines
  • Collaborative disposition comfortable in a consultative environment where various points of view are valued, sought out, and leveraged
  • Integrity, ethics, and cross-cultural sensitivity
