Responsibilities:
This position will develop and execute strategic communications plans for Wells Fargo’s Consumer Lending businesses, including executive communications, internal communications, and media relations, with communications that promote business priorities and support the Company’s reputation. This position will office in Charlotte, NC or New York, NY and is required to be in the office 3 days a week. The Wells Fargo job profile is Senior Communications Consultant.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate on internal and external communications initiatives that support Auto, Enterprise Payments & Personal Lending, Home Lending, and Consumer Lending Shared Services
- Create and execute communications strategies and plans that drive business priorities
- Write talking points, briefing documents, leader messages, intranet articles, press releases, key messages, media statements, and social media submissions
- Support C-suite level town halls, including event planning, logistics, talking points, and decks
- Respond to reporters from key national print, newswire, radio and broadcast media outlets
- Identify storytelling opportunities that promote executive(s) and key initiatives
- Identify executive advocacy, external speaking and/or social media opportunities
- Track and measure results to ensure they are in line with intended outcomes and business objectives
- Partner with other communicators to ensure alignment of communications strategies and messaging
