Description:

The Employee Communications Senior Specialist will have primary responsibility for myriad functions that drive strong execution across the Employee Communications team, including:

  • Project management for communications of upcoming program rollouts;
  • Managing the global calendar;
  • Collaborating with other teams to determine proper distribution lists;
  • Sending communication on behalf of various departments and teams;
  • Monitoring numerous project mailboxes; and developing and maintaining foundational materials pertaining to Employee Communications processes.

In addition to serving as a lead writer, the person in this role will develop communications programs with selected business partners and have end-to-end responsibility for planning and executing specific projects. The Senior Specialist also will be responsible for collaborating with Creative Services to deliver compelling promotional materials, as well as with the Interactive Technology Services team to ensure content is updated on our company intranet and other channels.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5+ years experience in corporate communications, public relations or similar experience.
  • Previous experience in developing appropriate content to engage target audiences.
  • Excellent grammar, spelling, copyediting and proofreading skills. Knowledge of AP Style a plus.
  • Outstanding judgment and interpersonal skills.
  • Must communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Detailed and customer-service oriented; work well in team environment.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and demonstrate creativity, flexibility and proactive approach to work
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint), particularly with PowerPoint and Outlook. Photoshop experience a plus, but not a requirement.
    The typical hourly pay rate for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location.
    $28.85 - $43.27
