Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust provides child and adult mental health services, learning disability, wellbeing, older people’s and eating disorder services across Norfolk and Suffolk.

Responsibilities:
MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB
We have an exciting opportunity to join the team on a six month secondment.
The successful candidate will have good interpersonal, organisational and communication skills in order to engage with older people experiencing a variety of mental health conditions as well as those with suspected cognitive difficulties, their family members and carers.
The role will involve completing urgent and emergency assessments including risk and safety plans according to service user needs and presentation. Whilst we aim to avoid hospital admissions the ability to request and co-ordinate these is also required.
The successful applicant will need to carry out the role of duty worker, taking calls and triaging referrals.
You will have the opportunity to supervise junior colleagues and students and work in a supportive and experienced multidisciplinary team.
