The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Compensation Specialist to join their Salary Management Strategy and Design organization!
The selected candidate for this position will be a member of Boeing’s Variable Compensation team within the Global Compensation organization and will contribute to and lead compensation projects that will support our incentive plans, special pay programs and employee recognition. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 10+ years of experience with Human Resources and/or Compensation
- 5+ years of experience with compensation, incentive design and recognition programs
- 5+ years of experience leveraging data analytics’ methods to solve complex problems
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- World at Work, SHRM, PHR, or SPHR certifications
- 5+ years of experience working with compensation laws and regulations
- 5+ years of experience in the development, communication, facilitation, or support of compensation or rewards programs
- 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
- 1+ years of experience with the Workday HR Management System
TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Typically 15 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise to the develop of compensation programs including incentive plans, retention bonuses, and employee recognition
- Lead the design and execution of quarterly short-term incentive for Production and Maintenance teammates
- Consult on design, review and renewal of incentives and other compensation programs
- Analyze metrics and consult on effectiveness of incentive and bonus design (incentive and bonus participation, cost commitment, and annual spend)
- Partner with other stakeholders to critically evaluate compensation programs to improve business results and recommending plan revisions
- Participate in the design and development of Corporate incentive plans during Boeing’s annual compensation review
- Participate in the design of Boeing’s recognition approach to include service awards, spot recognition, cash awards
