HARD SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• At least 6+ years of compliance experience, preferably in a proprietary trading or crypto-native firm.
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulations.
• Experience in relation to proprietary trading, financial services and/or crypto.
• General knowledge of regulations in other jurisdictions, ideally Singapore and/or US
• Strong attention to detail and able to prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong interest and curiosity in algorithmic trading and decentralized finance
• Owner mentality: you focus on protecting the company from compliance risk while being driven by the best for the company in terms of growth and commercial success
• Proven ability to be both a strategic thinker and excellent at execution and being hands-on; drive to do whatever it takes to get things done

We are looking for a Compliance Advisory Senior Associate who has in-depth expertise from traditional financial markets and can easily adapt to the entrepreneurial, varied and highly dynamic nature of Wintermute’s business, as well as to the challenges and opportunities specific to the cryptocurrency business. The Senior Compliance Associate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, laws, and regulation across multiple jurisdictions where Wintermute operates, as well as providing guidance on these matters.
