REQUIREMENTS
- Drive, independence, commitment, loyalty, and motivation
- Degree from a university or university of applied sciences; additional qualifications such as Swiss CPA are an advantage
- Relevant experience in the financial industry in Switzerland
- Interest in DLT and crypto assets
- Knowledge of financial market regulation in Switzerland; knowledge of EU regulations is a significant plus
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, is a must
- Ideally residing in the Greater Zurich area
- Team player with decisiveness and pragmatism
- Willingness to advance the team and Crypto Finance
Responsibilities:
- Deputy to the Group Chief Compliance Officer
- Coverage of operational risks owned by the compliance function, particularly in areas such as AML/CFT, sanctions, market conduct, data protection, cross-border issues, and fraud prevention
- Coordination and collaboration with legal & regulatory and operational risk teams
- Collaboration with the first line regarding client life cycle management and transaction monitoring, incl. blockchain forensics
- Development and maintenance of the compliance framework, incl. risk assessments, policies, processes, and controls
- Conducting and monitoring second line controls
- Consolidated oversight of group companies, reporting, and coordination with Deutsche Börse Group
- Participation in external workshops with prospects, clients, and regulators
- Conducting compliance training sessions and internal workshops
- Support of the internal and external auditors within the compliance area
- Independent implementation of compliance projects
