YOUR ROLE

As part of the Office of the Registrar of Community Housing team, you will play a Senior role in supervising a small team of Compliance Officers managing the registration, monitoring, and regulation of community housing providers in NSW.
This includes oversight of over 240 Community Housing Providers registered under the National Regulatory System for Community Housing and the NSW Local Scheme.
The Registrar of Community Housing works to ensure community housing is viable, and that it meets the needs of tenants as well as the requirements of government and investors.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You will manage and coordinate monitoring, licensing, investigating or auditing of internal and external service providers to ensure compliance with relevant acts and regulations, which provide an externally controlled metric to ensure the people we serve get appropriate care and the community housings sector adheres to set requirements of service quality and ethical behaviour.
Homes NSW leads work to deliver more social and affordable housing, end the cycle of homelessness, and deliver quality public housing to our 262,000 tenants across NSW.
The position is based in Burwood, 2-3 days per week in the office with hybrid working arrangements.
