Missions and responsibilities

The Compliance Senior Specialist, as member of the Compliance and Privacy team, participates and contributes, along with the Risk and Compliance Director and Compliance and Privacy Officer in:

  • Implementing, steering and adapting an adequate compliance framework of the company, on all non-compliance risks as defined in the Group policies and ules, including in terms of training and on Culture and Conduct aspects ;
  • Ensuring that local regulations are complied with in addition to the Group requirements; addressing request for exemption in case local regulations are more restrictive than Group rules
  • Implementing an adequate monitoring, surveillance and controls framework to prevent and/or detect compliance and reputational risks
  • Performing the 2nd level of controls on the 1st level of controls
  • Advising internal business stakeholders on a daily basis on compliance topics; in particular, he/she provides opinion on the non-compliance and reputational risks linked to new products or services as part of the New Product (and Services) process in place ;
  • Ensuring the oversight of the Compliance program for his perimeter role (e.g. he performing the regular non-compliance risk assessment, identifying, evaluating and escalating compliance incidents to both local and Group committees as per the defined governance, advising and informing senior management on non-compliance risks)

    Skills Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in relevant fields (Law, Business, Economics, Public Administration)

  • Subject Matter Expert on AML/ experience of AML within Financial Services, Sanctions and Embargo, and Anti-Bribery and Corruption;
  • Relevant trainings and certifications, including post-graduation studies;
  • At least 7 years of experience in similar role within a financially regulated institution;
  • A strong track record of having successfully provided relevant legal and regulatory advice at senior management level;
  • Willing to work in a dynamic and international environment (liaison with the central Headquarters of Ayvens Group and Société Générale Group)
  • Experience in implementing compliance frameworks, tools, processes, methodologoes and compliance risk management practices;
  • Structured and well organized, with ability to cope with tight deadlines;
  • Ability to develop and maintain valuable stakeholder relationships with other departments in the organization;
  • A strong desire to design and implement processes that are efficient and simple;
  • Personal integrity plays an exemplary role;
  • Full professional proficiency in English;
