The job

As you will collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation and manage compliance matters independently, we picture you as an outgoing team player who thrives on responsibility and works in a structured manner.
We also imagine that you:
- have a relevant educational background in Law
- have at least five years’ experience with compliance and regulatory matters. Experience and knowledge of competition law and the financial sector are also a plus, but not a requirement.
- have experience (or an interest) in energy regulations such as REMIT, MAR, EMIR and/or MiFID II
- are proficient in English - both written and verbal
Please note that it is not a requirement to have prior knowledge of the energy industry to enter this role.

- managing external regulatory enquiries from beginning to end, collecting necessary documentation and writing clear, detailed responses
- keeping up to date with regulatory changes related to trading compliance, in particular REMIT, MAR, EMIR and MiFID regulation
- acting as a trusted advisor to the business, simplifying complex regulations into practical advice
- turning regulatory requirements into actions
- leading compliance training for relevant teams, giving them the knowledge and tools to meet regulatory standards
- advising on competition law matter
