ABOUT THE COMPANY
T-Therapeutics is a venture-backed company on a mission to unlock the power of T cells to treat chronic and infectious diseases.
Based on technology from Professor Allan Bradleys laboratory in Cambridge Universitys Department of Medicine, T-Therapeutics has secured significant investment from a blue-chip syndicate of investors to support its drug discovery efforts and prepare candidates for clinical development.
T-Therapeutics was founded in 2022, and we are at the beginning of our journey to develop transformative T cell derived medicines. To realise our ambition, we are currently expanding and strengthening our teams at Granta Park, Cambridge.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a skilled, self-motivated individual to drivecomputational projects and provide bioinformatics support to lab scientists forthe development of high quality molecules for TCR-based therapies.
The role would suit someone with a particular interest of combiningmachine learning methods with computational modelling of protein structure anddynamics.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development ofadvanced medicines that can impact the lives of patients around the world.
About You
- A PhD or equivalent work experience in computational or the naturalsciences, mathematics or medicine
- Several years of work experience in the fields of computational structuralbiology or structural bioinformatics
- Proficiency in at least one programming language preferably withexperience of Python
- Extensive experience of working in a Linux/Unix environment andfamiliarity with shell scripting
- Experience of using software version control systems
EXPERIENCEIN SOME OF THE AREAS LISTED BELOW WOULD BE AN ADVANTAGE:
- Protein structure prediction, protein-protein docking, moleculardynamics simulations, protein-ligand binding free energy estimation
- Machine learning methods applied to biological datasets
- Bioinformatics software development and using DevOps tools
- Using relational database systems
