Senior Conditioning Assessment Officer

THE OPPORTUNITY

Veolia seeks an experienced Condition Assessment Officer to undertake and manage a comprehensive condition assessment program for our Gold Coast Desalination Plant in Tugun, 4224.
This role will also develop and deliver high quality asset management, maintenance and condition assessment practices across mechanical, electrical, process and civil operations environments.

• Undertake condition assessments for Gold Coast Desalination Plant
• Define and deliver maintenance improvement projects as required
• Forecast, plan and coordinate condition assessment work packages with engineers, supervisors and contractors
• Deliver a condition assessment program, providing recommendations for repair, refurbishment or replacement of assets including cost estimates
• Provide planning, reporting and CMMS record maintenance support as needed
• Research and recommend improvements to condition assessment methods and CMMS
• Coordinate opportunistic condition assessments with day-to-day operations
• Ensure compliance with OHS, environmental policies, codes, standards and regulations
• Recommend engineering solutions based on identifying asset deficiencies and hazards
• Interrogate and challenge internal/external condition assessment reports
• Liaise with and coordinate third-party condition assessment contractors
• Develop scopes of work for outsourced condition assessments
