Senior / Conference Service Manager

at  VILLAGE HOTEL SENTOSA

RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Acquire new sales leads / prospects and establish new accounts to grow account / client base focused on events including but not limited to: weddings, social events, corporate meetings or banquet events (residential / non-residential included)
• Foster and develop relationship with existing clients and customers to maintain loyalty.
• Manage leads and enquiries and provide suitable solutions promptly.
• Be familiar and diligent with various company systems and sales tools, such as property management system, customer relationship management system, function space booking
• Work collaboratively with the Operations team to ensure that we deliver the best to our guests
• Proactive update to event bookings and changes via Banquet Event Orders (BEO), attending BEO meetings etc
• Day-to-day sales activities include telemarketing, sales calls, hotel visits, entertainment, virtual presentations etc.
• Review account portfolio regularly and present to management to provide analysis on performance of each account and forward action plans.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in Sales and Marketing
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills with strong network
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills
• Able to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
• Knowledge in banquet spaces, facilities and capabilities of the competitive market
