Senior Construction Planning Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Construction Planning Engineer with specialized experience in high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and overseeing detailed project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of high-rise construction projects while managing risks and resource allocation.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for high-rise building construction using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the project stays on track and meets deadlines.
• Conduct critical path analysis, monitor progress, and recommend corrective actions for delays or potential risks.
• Provide expertise in resource planning, sequencing, and logistics specific to high-rise construction.
• Prepare and present reports on project timelines, status, and any adjustments to senior management and clients.
• Support project managers with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control related to schedule performance.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards for high-rise projects.
• Mentor and guide junior planning engineers and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in construction planning, with a focus on high-rise building projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other relevant planning software.
• Strong understanding of high-rise construction processes, logistics, and sequencing.
• Proven ability to manage large, complex projects and address challenges unique to high-rise construction.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet critical project deadlines.
