Title: Senior Construction Project Manager
Salary: $87,137 - $106,012 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hrs, (flexibility between 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
Location: Metro Vancouver office location – Sinclair office on the ancestral Coast Salish Territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. (Hybrid – minimum 50% in the office)
Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway, mid - 2025.
Bargaining Unit: PSAC Local 22000 (Public Service Alliance of Canada)

EDUCATION

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, and/or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Red Seal Certification is considered an asset.

EXPERIENCE

  • Extensive experience in project management in remote locations
  • Extensive experience working on construction projects with First Nation communities
  • 5 years’ project management experience working on National Building Code Part 3 facilities
  • Must have experience with CCDC contracting (in particular CCDC2 and 5A-5B)

KNOWLEDGE

  • Knowledge of the theories, techniques and practices necessary to function effectively in all of the building trades and computer controlled systems, and to be able to deal competently with day to day situations
  • Knowledge of inspection methods

Responsibilities:

As Senior Construction Project Manager, you will provide facilities management and real property services to the First Nations Health Authority and to First Nations people and communities. You will provide expert technical advice, project monitoring and direction on technical issues as well as guidance and training in areas of construction as well as operation and maintenance of facilities. This role will provide a unique opportunity to experience & learn from First Nations about their Customs, Culture and Ceremony and to support First Nations with their Capital Construction Projects in remote and isolated Communities throughout BC.
