SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in the retail construction sector, with a track record of successfully delivering complex retail projects.
- Strong knowledge of UK construction regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain positive client relationships.
- Solid financial acumen, with experience in budget management, cost control, and reporting.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar.
- A degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional membership of a recognized body such as RICS, APM, or CIOB is highly desirable.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with some of the most prestigious retail brands across the UK, managing a diverse portfolio of retail construction and fit-out projects.
As a Senior Construction Project Manager, you will lead complex retail projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a pivotal role in fostering client relationships, driving project success, and contributing to the growth and reputation of the consultancy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Leadership: Lead the delivery of high-profile retail construction projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and adherence to agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
**Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact and ensuring their needs are met at every stage of the project lifecycle.
**Team Coordination: Manage and mentor project teams, including internal staff, contractors, and external consultants, to ensure effective collaboration and delivery.
Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, cost control, and financial reporting, ensuring profitability and value for both clients and the consultancy.
- **Programme Management: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track.
**Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring robust governance and compliance with all relevant regulations.
**Technical Expertise: Provide guidance on construction methods, procurement strategies, and contract administration, ensuring technical excellence throughout the project.
**Business Development: Support business growth by identifying new opportunities, contributing to bids and proposals, and maintaining strong professional networks.
