Linx is looking for a Senior Construction Underwriter in Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary or Vancouver.
Note: This vacancy is eligible under Aon’s SmartWorking policy and is therefore a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our office.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE THAT WILL LEAD TO SUCCESS

  • 5+ years of project construction underwriting experience
  • 5-10 years of commercial property and casualty experience in the contracting sector is an asset.
  • Cross Canada underwriting experience is an asset.
  • AIIC/CIP and/or FCIP designation.
  • Strong decision marking skills
  • Ability to be creative to solve problems.
  • Robust analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate your thought process clearly and concisely required.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Understands the time sensitivity of the project construction market.
  • Team player
  • Experience mentoring or training more junior staff is an asset.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Outlook.
