Description:

WE MAKE COMMUNITIES MORE RESILIENT THROUGH SMARTER ASSET MANAGEMENT AND ADVISORY SERVICES TO OUR CLIENTS.

Our Advisory Services Team has a track record of successful project delivery across the Water, Energy, and Infrastructure sectors. We support our clients to help them deliver performance and realise financial and social value through their asset management and long-term planning capability.
We work closely with clients in a collaborative environment to provide strategic, sustainable, and innovative solutions to increase performance. We work with client teams and stakeholders to unlock hidden data and provide insight into the performance of their asset base, helping them to work more effectively and make systems based, informed, and timely decisions.
Our continued success in supporting many of the UK’s main utility providers and major infrastructure developers, brings significant growth across the group. As a result, we are looking to appoint a Senior Consultant to join our Advisory Services team. This role could be based from either our Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London or Reading offices, with hybrid working allowing for a mix of home- and in-office working.
As a Senior Consultant within the Advisory Services Team, you will work alongside industry leaders and help to mentor and guide more junior colleagues. You will become a key part of the team and a key point of contact for our clients. You will have a pivotal role in growing the capability within the Regulation, Economics and Assurance team, supporting our Technical Director of Regulation, Economics and Assurance with providing consultancy to clients, winning/securing work and growing the team’s capability.
An important part of your role will be to identify wider improvement opportunities for clients to reduce risk and/or improve their effectiveness and efficiency. With a ‘seller/doer’ mindset and attributes, you will also build internal and external relationships to support our client’s strategic thinking and raise the profile of our Advisory Services group.
If you are looking for a chance to accelerate your career forward within a highly supportive organisation, delivering a variety of exciting projects for Clients then we want to hear from you.

ABOUT YOU

In order to be successful within this role you will need to have experience in asset management with a focus on Regulation, Economics and Assurance. Ideally you will have experience working for, or with, major utility companies (Water or Energy) or have worked at a regulator within the UK.
You will be a strategic thinker, thought leader with excellent analytical, conceptual, and a proven track recorded of working in a highly regulatory environment.
You will be comfortable working collaboratively to develop asset management strategies that will deliver value for our clients. We welcome candidates at all levels of experience and particularly welcome staff looking for a new challenge.
