Description:

We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant with experience in Asset Optimisation to join our growing UK Advisory team.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Passion for asset and facilities management, and in championing how the optimisation of assets contributes to the delivery of organisational performance, sustainability and innovation.
  • Experience working in an advisory context, preferably specialising in asset and facilities management.
  • Experience leading and delivering strategic projects, conducting analysis, and implementing operational changes.
  • Specific experience, content knowledge and practice across core practice areas of Target Operating Models, Sourcing Strategies, Design Reviews, Operational Readiness Planning, Service Performance Reviews, Procurement, Investment Planning and Cost Modelling.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Able to build and maintain successful client relationships, evidencing business development experience in the context of identifying and winning opportunities with existing as well as new clients.

Responsibilities:

YOUR NEXT ROLE

This role will see you providing strategic Asset & FM advice to our clients across a diverse portfolio of UK and international projects. You’ll deliver cutting-edge solutions that optimise project outcomes and enhance operational efficiency for our clients.
Asset Optimisation is a small but growing part of our Advisory practice and you’ll play a key role in shaping and enabling this growth journey.

KEY DUTIES

  • Lead the management, co-ordination, and delivery of discrete workstreams (on large projects) or complete engagements (small projects) from outcome definition, activity planning to successful delivery and knowledge capture.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations, clearly communicating findings, recommendations, and strategies to clients and stakeholders.
  • Design and facilitate effective client workshops to accelerate current understanding, identify opportunities, and build consensus across a broad set of stakeholders.
  • Develop internal stakeholder relationships within advisory and the wider Buro Happold engineering business
  • Support business development activities specifically by contributing to the creation of innovative proposals and service propositions.
  • Support continuous development of asset optimisation services and go-to-market offers through the development of tools, templates and techniques.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster their professional development.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and opportunities, industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the creation of thought leadership content and actively participate in industry events and conferences.
