SENIOR CONSULTANT, BUSINESS STRATEGY AND TRANSFORMATION

Cherokee Nation Solutions Link (CNSL) is seeking a talented Senior Consultant, Business Strategy and Transformation to join our team in the Washington, DC area. This is a client-facing role where you will have the opportunity to deliver on high-profile workstreams, manage client engagements, and oversee the creation of work products from inception to completion. You will be working with a federal agency undergoing enterprise-wide change, offering a unique chance to engage with senior executives and influence significant transformation initiatives.

SENIOR CONSULTANT, BUSINESS STRATEGY AND TRANSFORMATION REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, operations, industrial engineering or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of consulting experience, preferably in a federal setting.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt.
  • Prior experience in a PMO or project management role.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Proven track record in business process improvement, governance work, policy analysis, and change management.
  • Ability to analyze complex data, trends, and information to derive insights and develop strategic recommendations.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing business plans that align with organizational objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex ideas and recommendations clearly.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.Must be able to pass a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) and/or obtain a Public Trust clearance.

SENIOR CONSULTANT, BUSINESS STRATEGY AND TRANSFORMATION PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in business, management, operations, or industrial engineering is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in top-tier management consulting, strategy consulting, or a related field.
  • Recent (past 3-5 years) experience working with the IRS.Project Management and/or Change Management certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research, analyze data, and develop recommendations to improve business processes in a complex operational environment.

  • Oversee the creation of deliverables such as reports, presentations, process flows, project plans, operational guides, best practices, change management plans, and communications plans, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client expectations.

  • Support project management activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to drive consensus and advance project objectives.
  • Utilize strategic thinking and analytical skills to address complex business problems.
  • Develop innovative solutions that drive organizational improvements and achieve client objectives.
  • Continuously refine and adapt strategies based on evolving client needs and industry trends.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
