EY is looking for a senior consultant to help clients respond to issues across the sustainability and climate change agenda. Key desired attributes from candidates include:

Responsibilities:
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Advise clients on insights and strategies related to sustainability and climate change topics.
- Assist your manager in preparing work plans and client deliverables.
- Build relationships and identify opportunities for clients to benefit from our knowledge in other areas.
- Research and contribute to the creation of business insights and follow up evolving regulatory requirements and trends relating to sustainability and climate change.
- Contribute to new business development by highlighting potential opportunities for new engagements and responding to tenders.
- Support team management.
- Contribute to the development of the CCaSS team supporting junior members and leading by example.
TO QUALIFY FOR THE ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Environmental Sciences, Finance, Economics or similar fields of study
- At least 3 years of work experience advising clients on insights and strategies related to Sustainability Reporting and assurance; Sustainability/ESG integration Strategy; Impact measurement; Life-cycle assessment; Climate change risk; Carbon measurement and management; EHS Risk and compliance, Sustainable Finance/ Responsible Investment; Circular economy; Previous experience in working on complex projects that require knowledge of business / sustainability strategy and operation.
- Understanding of key sustainability issues and trends and how they link to business value.
- A dedication to teamwork
- Prior consulting or high-impact industry experience is an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English.
- Strong project management and personnel management skills.
- Willingness and ability for national and international travel, as necessary.
