Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently looking for a Senior Consultant, Compensation and working conditions to join our national Human Resources team. You will act as a resource person, providing strategic advice and support on compensation and working conditions issues.

WHAT YOU’LL DO HERE:

  • Provide advice on compensation and working conditions and propose integrated solutions to complex issues, taking into account business needs and alignment with organizational values and best practices.
  • Detect value-generating opportunities and proactively identify practices requiring adjustment or improvement.
  • Establish and maintain a partnership with supported groups and actively participate in team meetings and client group projects as a compensation expert.
  • Lead or participate in projects and initiatives that may involve discussions and interactions with executives.
  • Lead or participate in the revision or development of policies and programs and ensure their deployment, including creation of communication materials and change management.
  • Conduct impact analysis of total compensation and working conditions, working closely with members of the HR community, Legal Services or other business units.
  • Contribute to skills development within the team and the HR community.
  • Keep abreast of market trends, compensation practices, working conditions and legislative changes.
  • Lead training and information sessions.
  • Participate in the administration of the compensation team’s regular operations (annual audits, compensation and employment surveys, etc.).
