I3NETZERO / I3WORKS PROJECT MANAGEMENT (P3M) / BUSINESS ANALYSTS WITH SUSTAINABILITY AND SOCIAL VALUE
Up to £80,000 (dep. on exp.) + Performance bonus / Yearly bonus + Hybrid Working
These are key positions within our business; we are looking for the right individuals to help build our P3M, Digital Services and Sustainability/Net Zero/Social Value capabilities and offerings across our businesses.
OVERVIEW
We are looking for passionate Project Managers and Business Analysts who have interest, experience and expertise in sustainability, net zero and social value. The work will be varied, stretching and you will have the chance to shape decisions that will have significant strategic influence on the business and our clients’ businesses.
You will lead, guide and influence stakeholders and teams using effective communication, and utilisation of project management and digital services aligned to the agreed delivery strategy. These are outward-facing roles requiring effective leadership and stakeholder engagement together with well-developed collaborative working practices and sustainability, social value and net zero expertise and commitment.
CORE SKILLS
You will be providing consultancy support to clients around portfolio, programme and project planning and controls, and/or digital services. The below responsibilities are not exhaustive, it is a list of chosen responsibilities which you will need to demonstrate:
- Experience in defining, managing and delivering complex projects, programmes and portfolios.
- Recent experience of working within the Ministry of Defence, Nuclear, Public Sector, IT or Infrastructure programmes.
- Understand the classification and protection of classified information.
- Programme / Portfolio office organisation.
- Leadership of Programme assurance reviews on projects of increasing size and complexity and in the delivery of major business and change management solutions.
- Conversant with continuous improvement and benchmarking methodologies.
- Expertise in multiple planning management and control disciplines.
- Fully conversant with risk and opportunity management including associated methodologies.
- Implementation of benefits management, quality management, and blueprint design and delivery principles.
- Ability to work on own initiative and a ‘Can-Do’ attitude.
- Demonstrable effective communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Ability to bid manage complex proposals and provide technical assurance of bid costings and scope, leading bid teams and opportunity pursuit teams.
- Ability to identify key areas for the department to develop capability.
- Ability to lead multi-disciplinary Programme teams, managing performance and delivery.
- Knowledge and experience in Sustainability and/or Social Value and/or Net Zero Pathways, Circular Economy, Decommissioning, Waste, Environmental Management, Climate Security and/or Sustainable Technology.
- The suitable candidate already holds or will be expected to achieve Security Clearance.
Responsibilities:
ROLE(S) SUMMARY
The Project Manager(s) / Business Analysts will be responsible for the Management and delivery of plans and/or digital services to ensure all necessary preparation and execution tasks and dependencies are included, and performance is adequately monitored.
They will work with key stakeholders to manage the deployment of all aspects of the project assigned to identify and mitigate potential risks for the delivery of products, particularly to that requirements are managed and delivered to date and time. This could include any of the five thematic areas of Social Value, as well as aspects of Sustainability and the Journey to Net Zero.
You will develop stakeholder relationships with suppliers; including preparation of joint plans; proposals and any design and build documentation as well as preparing technical briefs, costing analysis, status reports and meeting minutes/notes.
Ideal Project Management candidates will be able to provide the application of APM methodologies underpinned by practical experience of P3M delivery as well as marketing the organisation’s capabilities when required, including business development activities. Along with an understanding and expertise in Sustainability, Social Value and Net Zero.
Ideal Business Analyst candidates will be to act as the bridge between the business and the technical directly contributing to that team’s goals with your analytical skillset. You will work with clients to clarify ambiguity, resolve issues, and assist with additional functionality across the service development lifecycle. Along with an understanding and expertise in Sustainability, Social Value and Net Zero.
