JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to a Principal Consultant, the Senior Consultant will oversee and manage ESC’s Environmental Monitoring and Management Plan (EMMP) business area in Singapore. This key role involves mentoring a diverse team of consultants in delivering EMMP works for infrastructure projects across Singapore.
In addition to managing our growing existing client base, you will also play a key role in driving efficiency in the EMMP business through automation, undertaking liaison with authorities and ensuring quality deliverables. This role requires a blend of client and authority management as well as hands-on project delivery, with the ultimate goal of cultivating a profitable and growing EMMP business.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years’ experience in a local and/or International consultancy. This role will require you undertaking EMMP projects in Singapore.
- Ideally, you will have significant relevant experience in EMMP to Singapore government standards, environmental baseline studies, pollution control, and other related technical disciplines. Having a good understanding of infrastructure landscape in Singapore is an advantage.
- Candidates with relevant NParks Certificate such as those under the Animal Management Certification Programme, experience in biodiversity surveys and/or contractor management will be advantageous.
- The role will be based in ESC’s Singapore office Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day direction of ESC’s Singapore EMMP business.
- Support business development to win new EMMP projects for ESC.
- Representing ESC as the main point of contact for EMMP contracts.
- Developing efficiency in delivering EMMP works e.g. automation, AI etc.
- Leading project teams to provide services/solutions to complex technical problems and overseeing client management.
- Manage and mentoring the professional development of ESC’s EMMP Team, implementing formal quality assurance processes and assist staff appraisals.
