Senior Consultant - Enterprise Datawarehouse Developer

Infosys is seeking a Enterprise Datawarehouse Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications :

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Markham, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred Qualification :

• At least 4 years of Experience in the full System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) on a variety of technologies and platforms preferably in Property and Casualty
• At least 4 years of Experience with modeling business processes, data flows, and workflow processes depicting relationships between Insurance data entities.
• EDW ETL Experience - At least 2+ EDW Project implementation end to end using SAP BODS
• Minimum 4+ years hands on experience in ETL process and 4+ years in SAP BODs.
• Candidate should be strong in PL/SQL concepts
• Create highly optimized and advanced SQL queries to answer business and Actuarial questions from the Enterprise Datawarehouse and reporting databases
• Create efficient ETL and data movement pipelines using SAP BODS to move data from different data sources into EDW as well as out of EDW
• Analyze legacy reporting database objects and develop methods to create replacement versions
• Maintain data warehouses using SAP BODS
• Be a vital member of the EDW team and coach other teams in IT to enforce standards in all development initiatives involving data modeling, data quality, data dictionary consistency for all data elements and meta data management
• Build and manage relationships with project team members, third party vendors/service partners, release teams and client areas as appropriate
• Coordinate with analysts and specialists and manage efficient working of work.
• Manage various projects and facilitate reuse of same architecture.
• Monitor system details within the data warehouse, including stored procedures and execution time, and implement efficiency improvements
• Analyze existing operations and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the EDW architecture
• Review data quality, addressing any issues through the creation of new processes or adjustment of the data integration architecture.
• Help in the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of EDW, including data architecture, data integration, and high availability, security, and data privacy.
