Senior Consultant - F5
We’re looking for an experienced F5 consultant with a can-do mentality who’s capable of implementing/configuring a variety of F5 components. This position combined hands-on and advisory expertise.
Carrying out assignments and tasks with dedication and responsibility is key. We expect projects, installations/implementations are delivered on time and correctly and the best possible service for the customers is ensured. Risks are always avoided, in case of doubt contact a senior colleague or Project Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

• Being able to interpret/analyse the existing customer infrastructure in regards to the newly purchased environment.
• Implementation of the purchased solutions according to the known best practices.
• Documentation of the implementations based on scope of work or work packages.
• Maintaining your level of certification and/or obtaining new certificate level. Develop and follow the necessary trainings to keep your knowledge up to date.
• Taking a ‘full track’ responsibility (finishing tasks and closing projects), by doing so all agreements are fulfilled in an effective manner.
• Be available and responsive to colleagues, so that together the goals can be achieved.
• Acting according to insights / knowledge / feeling and not in response to.

Why are we talking to you?

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity and IT infrastructure projects, including F5 hands-on experience.
• Knowledge of BIG IP (APM, AFM, Advanced WAF, DDOS, SSL Orchestrator, LTM & DNS)
• Good English language skills
• Strong motivation to become competent on 5 products.
• Strong and transparent communication skills, enthusiastic team player
• Entrepreneurial, proactive, and technically skilled with hands-on approach
• Eager to learn.
• Driven, result-oriented, still very flexible.
• Structured and accurate way of working, good documentation skills
• Good knowledge and understanding of Routing & Switching, Network and Transport protocols, Core Services, Network Performance, Cyber Security, Information Security, IT Security, Cloud Security, (Hyperconverged), (Storage), Network security, Network implementation, Routing protocols, Web/Application technology.
• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree or equivalent by experience
• Good knowledge of MS 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio
• Knowledge of Distributed Cloud Services Web App & Api protections
• WebApp FW
• DDOS protection
• Bot Defense
• API security
