As a Senior Consultant in AI Governance, you will have a key role to play in building out and delivering PwC’s expertise on cutting-edge topics around how to interpret and implement in practice new legislative, regulatory and ethical frameworks and requirements covering data and AI, e.g. the EU AI Act. You will work closely with a talented team to craft compelling proposals for a wide range of clients, while fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders across the PwC EMEA region. This is a full-time role for a person with a demonstrable knowledge and experience in digital technology, governance, compliance and strategy. About the AI Centre of Excellence team
The team is based in Prague and Brno and focuses on strategic consulting services in the topic of data and data-driven insights. We design data and AI strategies for global clients, build data and AI implementation roadmaps, advise on the use of advanced analytics (e.g. ML, NLP etc.) and drive regulatory and ethical compliance (e.g. EU’s AI Act etc.) through maturity/gap analyses and capacity building. This role will be focused on delivering services around responsible and legally compliant digital innovation to our clients. Being part of a wider ‘Digital Enablement’ area, we work closely with other teams focused on Big Data & Data Science, Business Intelligence & Reporting, as well as Digital Transformation and Software Development.

JOB DESCRIPTION & SUMMARY

As a Senior Consultant in AI Governance in PwC’s AI Centre of Excellence team, your everyday tasks will focus on supporting our clients to understand and use digital technologies and data ethically and legally and engaging with clients and the broader PwC network to identify and pursue opportunities. You will be part of a team that focuses on strategic consulting, designing data and AI governance, strategies, and solutions for global clients, and driving regulatory and ethical compliance.

Responsibilities:

YOUR TASKS MAY INCLUDE:

  • Track and understand key technological developments, their capabilities and limitations, and how they affect PwC and our clients
  • Monitor legal, policy and regulatory developments that will affect data and digital technologies, e.g. AI Act, Data Governance Act, Digital Services Act, and identify relevant requirements and good practices for their implementation
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude and initiative to identify and take ownership of opportunities, based on developments in the local or international markets and legislation
  • Translate legal, policy and standard requirements into concrete actions, guidelines, and processes and know-how that you can use to implement these requirements to concrete technical solutions or organisational contexts
  • Carry out legal and policy analysis to inform or assess ICT-related policy questions, as the opportunity may arise
  • Develop and deliver information materials and presentations on the landscape of law and technology
  • Collaborate and interact with experts across technical and non-technical disciplines
  • Engage with stakeholders internally and externally to build lasting relationships, share best practices and knowledge internationally and collaborate on international projects
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for presale engagements, including identifying client needs, crafting tailored solutions, and presenting proposals
  • Actively participate in industry events and networking opportunities to identify and connect with potential clients
  • Evaluate potential business opportunities, including assessing potential client needs and the feasibility of proposed projects
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across PwC EMEA to align business development activities with the overall firm objectives
