Description:
NATIONAL Atlantic is an award-winning, full-service marketing and communications agency headquartered in Halifax, with offices in Saint John and St. John’s. You will often find our team at the center of initiatives and issues that are shaping the future of our region. We are expanding our Atlantic team and seeking a Senior Consultant, Marketing. This position can be based in Halifax or anywhere in New Brunswick, with a hybrid option available in our Saint John office. With nine offices from coast to coast and our sister agencies in the AVENIR GLOBAL network, one of the largest communication firms in the world, we have access to clients and talent from across the globe.
The Senior Consultant will deliver strategic thinking, exceptional client service, and leadership within the marketing team. Responsibilities include account management, client relations, marketing strategy, and people management. This role offers the opportunity to plan and execute large-scale, integrated consumer marketing campaigns for one of our largest clients, including owned, earned, and paid channels, experiential initiatives, and long-term strategy development.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5-10 years experience in a marketing role. Agency experience is desired.
- Experience or familiarity with the Atlantic Canadian tourism industry is an asset.
- Leadership skills with a commitment to elevating others
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to develop communication plans and/or programs, with broad knowledge of branding principles, paid media strategies and other marketing fundamentals
- Strong writing skills
- A strong work ethic with ability to learn and grow
- Experience working with Indigenous organizations and communities is an asset
