JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you seeking a pivotal role in a strong consultancy team for permitting processes of environmentally hazardous activities?
We are looking for professionals with a few years of experience in permitting processes for industries such as district heating plants, sewage treatment plants, mechanical industry, chemical industry, or other environmentally hazardous activities. Special expertise in permitting for hydrogen production and storage or carbon capture is highly valued due to significant client demand in these areas.

Responsibilities:

YOUR NEW ROLE

As our new Senior Consultant, Permitting for Environmentally Hazardous Activities, you will be integral in our global commitments to permitting assessments and environmental impact assessments, contributing to industry’s green transition. You will support our clients through various investigation phases, from early strategic planning to permitting processes and support during design and implementation. Our projects vary in complexity, and our clientele includes both Swedish and global players across the public and private sectors. Based in our Stockholm office, you will also have the option to flexibly work from home.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Leading and coordinating environmental assessments and EIAs for projects related to environmentally hazardous activities
  • Guiding and orchestrating environmental investigations in both minor and larger projects Communicating and dialoguing with clients, authorities, and other stakeholders • Sharing your expertise and drawing on your experience to mentor junior colleagues
  • Contributing to the teamwork and development within Ramboll
