Join our growing Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) team as a Senior consultant. You will be a member of a multidisciplinary team to help clients build and manage their sustainability approach aiming at addressing rising stakeholder concerns and new regulatory requirements, achieving more transparent non-financial reporting and seizing opportunities for integrating sustainability aspects in business processes, incl. supplier management and risk mitigation.
We welcome applicants with a variety of backgrounds and experience in the fields of sustainability and are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate knowledge related to Data and Technology combined with domains such as Climate, Assurance as well as EU regulatory requirements related to social, environmental and human rights disclosures for business.

Responsibilities:

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a senior, you will provide exceptional digital advisory services for our clients. Colleagues and clients from a diverse array of backgrounds will look to you first for answers on EHS and ESG matters, and your insights and experience will be called upon to resolve complex issues. As you build your knowledge and experience, you will become a credible advisor, influencing clients, and engagement teams on continual process improvement. Below are examples of tasks you would be expected to perform in this role:

  • Design and implement enterprise systems and workflow in the EHS and ESG domain
  • Automate data uploading, data curation, data migration, assessment of data quality and reporting
  • Develop Business Intelligence dashboards using visualization tools such as Power BI for Executive Management to use for data analysis and decision making
  • Work with client IT and Product Management teams on data cleansing, designing and executing data migration tasks from old systems into new applications, performing quality checks on data, designing mock-ups based on client requirements, and developing reports for various audiences
  • Guide clients through the change management process and acceptance of change related to deployment of enterprise management systems
  • Evaluate and recommend software solutions and updates to existing and new clients; recommend new approaches and ideas that continuously improve efficiency
  • Serve as a mentor to colleagues and other firm professionals on EHS and ESG matters
  • Coordinate other work groups within the same or different office locations and/or within the same or different disciplines on an as-needed basis

TO QUALIFY FOR THE ROLE YOU MUST HAVE

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, environmental science, statistics, or data analytics, along with 2 to 4 years of experience in ESG or EHS, involving software implementation and/or data analytics in those domains
  • Experience in the industry or in consulting firm in topics such as sustainability, climate change and non-financial reporting & assurance, as well as training in these areas
  • General understanding or knowledge of environmental regulations, safety regulations and compliance; and/or the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting landscape and its business drivers
  • Proven project management skills
  • The confidence to research and resolve emerging client issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is a requirement, additional proficiency in German is a differentiator
