Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE
BBC Radio Lincolnshire is at the heart of our community. We are looking for Senior Content Producer (Communities). You will be part of the management team and bring a wealth of leadership, journalistic and event management skills. You will be a great collaborator and communicator and full of ideas and enthusiasm. The role is a vital part of the BBC Strategy of bringing people together and reaching underserved audiences.
It is a six month attachment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
You’ll be the person who makes sure BBC Radio Lincolnshire connects with and reflects everyone who lives in our county.
You’ll take ownership of shaping and leading on partnerships, events and projects, fostering collaboration and great team work across audio and the wider story team.
We’re looking for someone who is dynamic and resourceful who can grow sustainable partnerships with communities and contacts and find the characters and contributors who will best tell the stories of audiences we currently don’t hear from enough.
You’ll work closely with programme teams and presenters to create outstanding content for our audiences. As well as recognising digital opportunities to help our content travel further.
The Make A Difference Awards are a key part of this role. You’ll need to be able to organise and promote the launch across all our platforms, coordinate the nominations, run the judging panels and deliver an event for 150 people, within budget in September 2025.
