THE OPPORTUNITY

Worldline is looking for a Senior Contract Manager (m/f/d) with strong experience in the complex management and negotiation of Financial Services and Information Technology contracts (gained preferably in a large international group) to be appointed as Senior Contract Manager, located in Frankfurt.
The Senior Contract Manager is a strong client facing role. The Senior Contract Manager is a Key player in the account governance, participating in meetings as a trustful advisor to the business teams, and managing compliance with contractual obligations protecting Worldline’s interests and supporting business strategy decisions internally and in external negotiations and alignments.
The Contract Managers community in Worldline is composed by a team of highly experienced contract experts, working in a global and smart professional environment in the major accounts of the Group over several countries, interconnected with latest technology tools that allow building their network to exchange knowledge and share different experiences. The community benefits from working under the same consistent methodology and standards defined at the Group level and having mobility and career opportunities for progressing.

Responsibilities:

  • Professional administration and effective management of the overall contracts through all stages of the lifecycle to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and obligations
  • Leading of complex contract negotiations
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of all projects and contracts in order to mitigate risks and prevent penalties
  • Being a proactive member of the Worldline delivery team, advising and collaborating with the delivery managers and account team as well as other team members in the contract execution in order to protect Worldline’s interests
  • Identifying, assessing and managing risk-related matters in the contract execution and supporting rigorous and effective risk management processes
  • Providing advice on issues of contractual interpretation and assisting in any disputes resolution process.
  • Participate in the planning and management of the departmental budget.
  • Contribute to projects with a focus on database integration.
  • Coordinate the different on-call support rotation for critical database systems.
