ABOUT US

We are hiring a Senior Contract Specialist for the Fortive EMEA Legal and Compliance team, who will have specific contract management responsibilities for the Fluke Reliability Solutions (FRS) business. The new team member will report to the Fortive EMEA General Counsel and will join our diverse team of four lawyers, two paralegals and two contract and compliance specialists supporting the Fluke Reliability business segment across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India, Australia and New Zealand.
Fluke Reliability is a leader in connected reliability, offering a developing framework of products and services to improve asset uptime and support the move to Industry 4.0. This is an opportunity to join a growing and innovative part of the Fluke business, with a focus on SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions bundled with high-end hardware and professional services.
We are seeking a candidate who will enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams on both day-to-day and strategic matters and processes. In particular, this role will have oversight for representing Legal on the Fluke Reliability Deal Desk and PPL priorities tracker, ensuring a close alignment between the EMEA Legal and Commercial teams on closing deals as efficiently as possible.

EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrable track record (ideally, 5+ years) of relevant contracting experience including drafting and negotiating key contract terms, contract amendments and contracting processes. P roficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint). Experience with a CLM tool preferred. Comfortable working in English; in addition, the ability to work in German is strongly preferred. Experience with using Salesforce, MSD or implementing and using a CLM tool (e.g. DocuSign, Conga, Ironclad, Icertis, Agiloft) preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT – Engage and build meaningful relationships with stakeholders and business partners in the EMEA region. Communicate daily with cross functional teams including Sales, Legal, Operations and Product Management.
  • SALES CONTRACTS – Draft, review and negotiate a variety of sales contracts with customers such as SaaS contracts, master sales agreements for bundled solutions of hardware, software and professional services, enterprise-level sales including white labelled products, public tenders and RFIs/RFPs. Drafting and updating contract templates. Managing the contract approval process to obtain approvals for non-standard terms.
  • CHANNEL PARTNER CONTRACTS – Oversight of the channel partner contracting process that includes maintaining contract templates and process documentation. Managing onboarding and termination of channel partners including the contract negotiation, gathering approvals, tracking status and communicating between key stakeholders.
  • OTHER CONTRACTS AND LEGAL DOCUMENTS – Reviewing and negotiating various other contract types and documents, such as non-disclosure agreements or procurement agreements.
  • TRAINING AND PROCESS DEVELOPMENT – Preparing training material on contracting processes. Training commercial teams and customers on legal, compliance and contract management topics. Proactively identify and implement improvements to contracting and partner onboarding procedures and templates.
  • TEAMWORK – Working with the remainder of the Fortive EMEA Legal and Compliance team on wider legal and contractual matters impacting the Fluke and Fluke Reliability business.
