Progyny is seeking a highly motivated Senior Contract Specialist to provide thoughtful support to our business teams on a broad range of contracting matters. You will perform a range of duties including negotiating contract terms and preparing contracts, term sheets, and letters of agreement in collaboration with different teams within Progyny. The ability to review and provide meaningful feedback across many different contract types, and advise on complex and varied contracting issues is essential. You will also tackle analysis of existing contracts using our contract management platform and create reporting on contract progress to the broader legal team. An ideal senior contract specialists should enjoy drafting, editing, and tracking agreements, and have the ability to demonstrate excellent attention to detail. You will be required to partner with both internal and external parties to ensure we meet all deliverables in a timely and accurate manner. We are looking for a collaborative teammate who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Review and track contract terms and conditions to verify that they are in compliance with company policies and all applicable federal and state regulations
  • Assist the team with a variety of contracting, including vendor, client, provider, and privacy agreements
  • Self-monitor progress according to the schedule of completion to return documents in a timely manner
  • Work with a variety of contract software and reporting tools
  • Master certain contract areas while constantly broadening your subject matter expertise across into new and different contract types
  • Informally assist team members on templated agreements
  • Be proactive in your communication approach and apply continuous improvement techniques to problem solving.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience with commercial agreements
  • Minimum 2 years’ working in healthcare or a related regulated industry
  • Experience with contract management, document governance and legal administration
  • Knowledge of Ironclad, Monday.com and Microsoft suite of products is a plus
  • Highly organized and detailed oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience reviewing healthcare payer contracts is preferred

In compliance with New York City’s Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $95,000-105,000. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
