Are you a highly skilled and experienced Senior Contracts Administrator with qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management or Law and looking for an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic civil construction team?
We are a leading civil construction company seeking a highly motivated Senior Contracts Administrator (based in Brisbane or Rockhampton) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
The Senior Contracts Administrator will partner with the project management team and will be responsible for the contract administration, finance management, cost control and tender support within the CCH Business Unit (Civil), relating to major projects within Queensland.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Administration of head contract ensuring all obligations are fullfed including issuing of notices and preparation of claims.
- Drafting subcontracts, which may include preparing documents for tenders, negotiation of legal agreements with customers or suppliers and undertaking research on topics relevant to the industry.
- Communicating changes in the business’s legal obligations to individuals at a project level.
- Monitor contract performance, variations, and compliance for major projects.
- Assist site engineers in the procurement of downstream packages.
- Assist project managers and senior management with cost forecasting and monthly costs reporting.
- Maintain commercial registers relating to contractual correspondence.
- Adhering to internal business procedures and WHSE requirements.
- Stakeholder engagement with the client and downstream supply chain.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement through collaboration across the management team.
