Great opportunity to work as a Senior Contracts Engineer (client side) based in Milan, on a major development project.
All candidates must have the right to work in the EU unsponsored, no uplifts or living expenses will be provided. All candidates must be willing to work out with “employed status” and should be self-employed/freelance.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BSc or higher at oil & gas sector (minimum 10 years’ experience).
  • Petroleum Tech. Institute with experience in oil & Gas Engineering projects (Non-graduate engineer/ 20 years’ experience in oil & gas production).
  • PMP or similar, Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP), ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification.
  • Risk management and contract law knowledge.
  • Professional Level in English.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiating terms to execution and closure.
  • Ensure that all contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all contracts, amendments, and correspondence.
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance, ensuring all parties fulfil their obligations.
  • Manage contract modifications and amendments, documenting changes and ensuring all parties are informed.
  • Prepare regular reports on contract status, performance metrics, and compliance for management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to prepare bid documents, evaluate vendor proposals, and negotiate contracts.
  • Work closely with procurement, finance, and project management teams to ensure effective contract execution.
  • Participate in project meetings to provide insights on contractual matters and support project success.
