Responsibilities:
- Lead projects across the project lifecycle from bid generation, through concept & detailed design development to installation & commissioning
- Work on systems integration, testing and validation of PLC, SCADA and simulator systems
- Demonstrate knowledge of the practical aspects of implementing engineering designs and understand the use of standards and compliance with regulatory requirements in an engineering environment
- Produce high-quality technical reports
- Simplify complex problems and build and maintain valuable relationships
- Degree qualified or equivalent (e.g. HNC/HND with significant experience) in C&I or another relevant discipline
- Working towards Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status with a relevant professional body (we will support you)
- An awareness of civil nuclear plant systems, structures and components and associated design and assessment guidelines (or relevant engineering principles from other highly regulated industries)
- An understanding of the relevant guidelines, standards and practices (e.g., IEC 61508, 61511, 61513, 61226, ONR SAPs / TAGS)
- Knowledge and experience in the systematic design lifecycle of a C&I system; including specification, design, assessment, verification, testing, installation, commissioning and maintenance of safety or process critical I&C Systems
- Knowledge of high integrity hardware or software-based control systems for industrial equipment
- Motivated team member with the ability to work to deadlines and communicate project progress
- Good communication skills and ability to articulate information to a broad range of stakeholders and committed to Continuous Professional Developmen
