Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educatio

Desired Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be a graduate of a bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Candidate must have at least 6 - 8 years of relevant experience in risk and controls (RCSA, Issue Management, Audit, etc.).
  • Experience working with risk management framework in Wealth Management, Asset Management and or securities industry is an advantage.
  • Candidate must be amenable to work on a late mid shift (5PM - 2AM). Must also be amenable to work in both McKinley Hill & Five Neo, BGC office.
  • Excellent technical, analytical and, communication skills. Must be effective with both individual contributors and senior management
  • Dedicated, enthusiastic, driven and performance-oriented; possesses a strong work ethic and results orientation
  • Ability to effectively and constructively lead change in an organization
  • Meaningful knowledge across enterprise risk management framework, including: risk identification, risk appetite and strategy, risk-related decisions, processes and controls, risk analytics and governance

Responsibilities:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Control Management Specialist who will be part of our Control Program Management team for our Wealth and Investment Management group.

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in identifying, assessing, managing, and mitigating current and emerging risk exposures within Control Management functional area
  • Provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business processes, and business controls
  • Monitor moderately complex business specific programs and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies
  • Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area
  • Provide guidance to business groups on the development, implementation, and monitoring of business specific programs to identify, assess, and mitigate risk
  • Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations
