Responsibilities:

  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for assigned projects and areas in close cooperation with Department Heads (DH), Project Leads (PL), Cost Center Heads (CCH) and any other key Stakeholders
  • Coordinate budgeting and forecasting events: preparation of planning tool and support business in the budget process
  • Collect, record and check data in SAC and SAP, support data consolidation throughout the company, liaison with PL and CCH
  • Monthly closing: run and manage cost assessment cycles; SAC updates. Create and support in group reports and management presentation; create reporting package for CCH, DH and PL. Perform deviation analysis and data reconciliation
  • Provide value added input to the Monthly Financial Report (MFR) with insight analysis explaining variances between Actuals and Budget
  • Support the accrual process for assigned cost centers and projects
  • Liaise and coordinate with Procurement on the financial aspects of service contracts and work orders to ensure financial commitments of contracts are correctly reflected into the planning cycles
  • Review and approve invoices and corresponding accounting vouchers
  • Perform payment run
  • Represent Finance in project review meetings and in coordination with the PL ensure that project costs are tracked accurately
  • Deputize members of the Controlling team on an as-needed basis
