Description:
Our client, a boutique law firm in downtown Vancouver, is currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Conveyancer to join their Commercial Real Estate practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate transactions, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service. The role offers flexible working hours including 1 day work from home option.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 5 of experience as a Conveyancer with a primary focus on commercial real estate transactions.
Proficiency in handling complex conveyancing matters, including title searches, document drafting, and closings.
Strong knowledge of British Columbia real estate law and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Experience with relevant software and technology used in conveyancing processes.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the conveyancing process for commercial real estate transactions from start to finish.
Conduct title searches, review due diligence materials, and ensure all necessary documentation is accurate and complete.
Prepare and draft legal documents, including contracts of purchase and sale, leases, and closing documents.
Liaise with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved in transactions to facilitate smooth communication and timely closings.
Stay current with relevant legislation and industry trends affecting commercial real estate transactions.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior conveyancing staff.
