Position Description:
Our team is looking for a Senior Coordinator, HR & Payroll to join our Human Resources team! Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Human Resources and DEI, the successful candidate will manage the full cycle payroll processing, benefits program (Health & Group RRSP), delivery of monthly and quarterly HR reporting, manage onboarding/offboarding processes and get involved in the Board’s HR programs and initiatives.

Role Description:

  • Administration of bi-weekly salary and hourly payroll for approximately 60+ staff through ADP Workforce Now
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding process for new hires and terminations
  • Updating and maintaining payroll procedures, policies, training, and documentation
  • Accurately manage our benefits programs (health & Group RRSP) enrollments, relevant deductions, changes, and terminations
  • Complete accurate and timely data processing for new hires, job changes, leaves, terminations etc., including drafting of new employee contracts
  • Prepare, update, and maintain records of vacation, sick time, and lieu time
  • Delivery of monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc HR reporting
  • Support full-cycle recruitment g
  • Provides support for the administration and delivery of the Board’s training and development and performance management programs
  • Takes an active role in supporting various other HR programming initiatives (monthly Socials, engagement activities, Mental Health events, etc)

Your experience includes:

  • Minimum 2 years of HR administration and full cycle payroll processing experience using ADP Workforce Now or relevant HRM system
  • Experience entering and reviewing new hires, status changes, and group benefits
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel (VLOOKUP’s and Pivot Tables)
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capability to perform in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Demonstrated professionalism when dealing with confidential and sensitive information
  • Experience supporting recruitment considered an asset
