Description:
Job Title: Senior Coordinator, Quality Assurance
Work Location: On-site, Brampton (90%) and Dunnville (10%)
Travel Requirements: 10% or less, within Ontario
Health Canada Security Clearance Required: No
Hours of Work: 9am to 5pm
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor of Science Degree or College Diploma in a relevant field.
- 3+ years of Quality Assurance experience.
- Strong technical aptitude, able to effectively use email (MS Outlook), MS Word, MS Teams, MS Excel, googledocs and googlesheets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to write, read and comprehend technical documents, such as SOPs.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Occasionally working in indoor areas ranging in temperature from 17 degrees Celsius to 30 degrees Celsius
- Don and doff full-body PPE, always wearing full-body PPE while working
- Working in close proximity to cannabis plants, which can trigger allergic reaction
- Working in an environment with a strong cannabis odour
- This role operates in a standard office setting during core business hours with non-standard hours required based on operational needs
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
- This is primarily a sedentary role; however, the role may occasionally require repetitive physical demands such as typing, bending, and lifting (up to 15lbs.)
- This role requires frequent need for concentrated reading and screen time.

Responsibilities:
- Support the Quality Assurance Person in ensuring operations are performed in accordance with Cannabis Regulations, GPP, and SOPs.
- Complete on-site quality tasks and projects to fulfil the overall quality program.
- Support the design and implementation of documents and procedures, including equipment qualification and validation.
- Provide quality training to employees on SOPs and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain the Quality Management System.
- Promoting GPP, and Quality Assurance standards to team members, as applicable.
- Support client audits, private certifications compliance, Health Canada inspections and information requests pertaining to Quality Assurance.
- Participate in CRA and CTLS reporting.
- Support batch review and release.
- Other duties as required.
