ABOUT THE JOB: SENIOR COPYWRITER

Tipalti’s small but mighty content team is looking for a senior copywriter. So, if wordsmithing is both your jam and your obsession, let’s talk. You may think finance automation is a bit dry, but we know it’s anything but. We know it’s a market ripe for creative ideas and new ways to express our very unique value proposition. If you agree, read on. Our senior copywriter will be a creative leader and disciplined multitasker with a B2B SaaS background who knows how to bring brand and product messaging to life across multiple digital platforms. You’ll work hand-in-hand with a host of cross-functional teams to keep our copy crisp, consistent, and aligned with Tipalti’s voice and tone. You’ll use your industry expertise to create exceptional, effective copy for web pages, digital advertising, email marketing, presentations, and social media. You’ll also be a strategic advisor, presenting creative concepts to internal teams and always looking for new, innovative ways to enhance our creative marketing campaigns. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Copywriting, English, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • 6+ years of copywriting experience in creative agencies or corporate marketing teams, with a focus on B2B or tech industries preferred (FinTech a huge plus).
  • Your writing is clear, crisp, concise and whatever other word starts with c. You effortlessly distill complex ideas into language that makes the reader want to know more.
  • You have expertise in developing creative solutions across various channels, including digital, advertising, websites, social campaigns, and events.
  • You can demonstrate your exceptional copywriting skills with an equally exceptional portfolio of work.
  • You’re a creative thinker who balances coloring outside the lines with a keen awareness of the ultimate goal.
  • You love to collaborate with other teams and don’t flinch at changing on the fly when priorities suddenly shift.
  • You’re comfortable presenting to all levels of the organization, even though no one really loves it, right?
  • Your passion for copywriting, language, and creative direction is almost frightening.
  • You understand UX/UI design principles and the ability to write copy that serves the reader and the organization. You know how to incorporate SEO guidance into your copy.
  • You geek out at editing and proofreading, just like we do. You can cite differences between AP and Chicago style guides (ok, maybe not that far).
  • You know how to provide constructive feedback and, more importantly, you don’t just know how to receive it; you welcome it.
  • You have a selfless attitude, knowing that when the team wins, we all win.
  • You can interact confidently with senior stakeholders and other exceptionally sharp cookies.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Director of Content Marketing, you’ll be joined at the hip with our cross-functional teams, particularly design, to develop and execute digital creative concepts.
  • Conceptualize and bring creative ideas to life through precise language, always aligning with our evolving design concepts and brand messaging.
  • Write copy for web pages, digital advertising, email marketing, presentations, and social media. You’re a master at writing concise, clever content that converts.
  • Use your technology background to craft thoughtful, memorable copy that appeals to various industry audiences across digital platforms.
  • Juggle like…well…just Google the greatest juggler in the world. Manage multiple, ever-changing projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines and always adhering to the highest quality standards.
  • Become an evangelist for Tipalti’s voice and tone across all projects, guiding other content creators as needed.
  • Be a strategic advisor across the business, able to present creative concepts to internal teams. Help us understand and implement new, innovative campaign strategies.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our brand and content strategy as an important voice in our internal initiatives and discussions.
