Reporting to the Head of Corporate Sales - APAC, the Senior Corporate FX Dealer is responsible for managing and building relationships with corporate customers and generating revenue through the execution of FX transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage a portfolio of Corporate clients, taking ownership of the relationships and ensuring that XE wins and retains as much of the FX business as possible from each client.
- Regularly visit your clients face to face to gain a better understanding of their needs and build stronger relationships.
- Accurately price and execute FX transactions when receiving client instructions, including spot deals, market orders, forward exchange contracts, swaps, FX options, pre-deliveries, and rollovers.
- Support your clients to manage their FX risk management strategies, assessing the suitability of clients to different products and services offered by Xe, in line with Xe procedures.
- Learn and understand the full suite of Xe’s FX option products, and ensuring you are capable of fully explaining the outcomes, risks, and rationale of FX options to clients.
- Execute FX option with XE’s counterparties on behalf of clients.
- Maintain the KYC and Wholesale/Retail status of your portfolio, in line with policies and procedures.
- Make margin calls and ensuring your clients timely payment of margin when required.
- Proactively seek to win new business opportunities through your portfolio and broader network.
- Participate in networking or client entertainment events as required.
- Work closely with the rest of the XE’s dealing team to maintain complete coverage of XE’s Corporate client base when team members are on leave of any kind.
- Familiarise yourself with other XE products as required, including products like API solutions and mass payments.
- Work collaboratively with compliance, operations and other back-office teams to resolve clients’ issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain awareness of financial markets, including economic events and data releases, including writing market commentaries.
- Prepare, submit, and manage credit applications and trading limits for clients entering derivative FX transactions.
- Adhere to and remain up to date with all Australian and New Zealand regulatory requirements and XE’s policies and procedures.
- Maintain your training requirements and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours.
