Kal Tire is currently looking for a Senior Corporate Travel Consultant. This is a permanent full-time position joining the team. The Senior Corporate Travel Consultant will provide travel reservation services for all of Kal Tire’s Team Members. These travel services include airlines, hotels, rental vehicles, and meeting and conference facilities. This person will ensure that these activities are accomplished in accordance with the policies and procedures defined in the Kal Tire Travel Policy Manual.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in Travel Industry specializing in Corporate Travel.
- Experience in an office environment using MS Office programs, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Experience with booking and changing international travel arrangements.
- Recent advanced Apollo/Travelport or equivalent GDS experience in a corporate travel environment with a minimum of 5 years experience.
- Thorough knowledge of international travel reservations and ticketing requirements.
- Thorough knowledge of ticket exchange procedures.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to a variety of high-expectation team members in a fast-paced environment.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills – both verbal and written.
- Ability to work as a team as well as independently and be self-motivated.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities to ensure team members’ satisfaction levels are achieved. Handling multiple requests at the same time with efficiency.
- Experience in all administrative areas with demonstrated computer skills in MS Office Programs.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Extensive attention to detail.
- Comprehensive understanding of worldwide geography and IATA Airport Codes
Education
- Travel training program, Certified Travel Manager/Consultant (CTM or CTC designation), or equivalent experience
Responsibilities:
- Booking commercial flights, car rentals, and hotels in the GDS system and online platforms.
- Issuing of airline tickets meeting BSP and IATA regulations.
- Booking of hotel rooms, meeting rooms, car rentals, Kal Tire vehicles, catering and shuttle transportation.
- Providing a high level of customer service to a variety of clients.
