We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cost Control Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient cost management and control across various infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, highways, and tunnels. This position demands a deep understanding of project cost dynamics, coupled with extensive site supervision experience in a consulting capacity.

Your new role, what’s involved?

  • Cost Management: Oversee all aspects of project cost management, including budget estimation, cost forecasting, and expenditure tracking.
  • Budgeting: Develop comprehensive project budgets based on detailed analysis and understanding of project scope, specifications, and requirements.
  • Cost Control: Implement robust cost control mechanisms to monitor project expenditures, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, cost analysis, and variance reports for project stakeholders and management.
  • Contract Management: Collaborate with project teams to review contracts, change orders, and other contractual documents to ensure alignment with project cost objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and cost implications associated with project activities, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize financial impacts.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, to address cost-related issues and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, policies, and procedures related to cost management and control activities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cost control processes, tools, and methodologies, based on industry best practices and lessons learned.
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the cost control team, fostering their professional development and growth.
