We are seeking experienced Senior Cost Controller to join us in our Perth office, initially working on a major construction project for a leading owner operator in Western Australia. This prestigious multi-disciplinary project offers long-term opportunities as you play an essential role contributing to the success of the project
As the Senior Cost Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of the project including cost control metrics, forecasting, variance analysis, as well as managing all aspects of project accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Develop control budgets and estimates in line with project scope and work breakdown structure across the full project life cycle.
- Undertake Project Forecasting and Estimate to Complete.
- Earned Value Analysis, Cost Reporting and Cost Performance evaluation.
- Variance analysis – trend, risk and opportunity identification.
- Provide data on project cost performance and participate in the review of overall project status and forecasts with the Commercial Manager and Project Manager.
- Assess variation and claims and provide cost change management.
- Manage project accounting activities, including cost control, responsible for leading the compilation of the monthly progress claim.
- Be the link between the Project team and the Commercial team in Perth
- Process month end accounting activities, including relevant accruals, provisions, allocations, and cost transfers.
- Prepare monthly management reports and present to senior management.
