Primary Purpose
Offer guidance and legal advice on all facets of the company’s Ethics & Compliance Helpline investigations, under the supervision of the Director and Managing Attorney for Ethics & Investigations. Advise and support internal investigators and stakeholders during investigations. Oversee external counsel tasked with conducting investigations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides end-to-end advice and counsel to investigators, human resources, and labor relations groups on the company’s Ethics & Compliance Helpline investigations.
  • Reviews and provides advice and counsel on investigation reports
  • Assists in planning, development, and delivery of training to teams of investigators across the family of companies
  • Collaborates with other investigations teams within the Sempra family of companies on investigation support, Helpline trends, and program improvements
  • Conducts complex internal investigations.
  • Assists in the administration of the company’s Ethics & Compliance Helpline.
  • Assists in the preparation of presentations and updates on the company’s Ethics & Compliance Helpline to leadership.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) or a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from an accredited law school is required.
