Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-house legal counsel on contract and product-related matters as they relate to Wrapbook’s offerings, its role as an employer of record, along with its corporate employees, which may include, but are not limited to, wage and hour laws, workers’ compensation, labor relations, human resources issues, employee agreements and policy-related issues, employment related litigation, grievances and arbitration, FMLA matters and generally assist the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel and support the People, Labor Relations, Operations, Tax, and Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) teams.
  • Internal lead for handling all claims related to labor and employment matters.
  • Supervise, manage and evaluate outside counsel on labor and employment related matters, including litigation.
  • Support the EPD team, including by advising on labor, employment, and tax laws and regulations and best practices as they relate to Wrapbook’s platform and offerings as an employer of record.
  • Support the People team, including by advising on labor and employment-related matters as they relate to Wrapbook and its workforce.
  • Support the Operations and Tax team by advising on labor, employment, and tax (including payroll tax) matters or questions that may arise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and manage projects with a team-oriented approach.
  • Identify and assess legal risks and opportunities within labor and employment and advise accordingly.
  • Review, negotiate, and draft agreements with customers and vendors.
  • Educate clients and stakeholders on legal matters, policies, and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain relationships, credibility, and trust with stakeholders, legal team members and other colleagues.
  • Lead and assist the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel with other legal matters as needed.
